Organize, cull and describe your photographs. Work directly with your files and folders, with no cloud, catalogue or subscription.

Organize — Copy or move photos into date-based folders, with Dry Run and Undo.
Cull — Review photos, mark Keep, Maybe or Reject, and assign star ratings.
Metadata — Edit titles, descriptions, keywords, location and ratings using XMP sidecars.
Explorer handoff — Open selected photographs from LPF Explorer directly in Organizer for metadata work.
Installation
- Download and open the DMG file.
- Drag LPF Organizer into the Applications folder.
- Open LPF Organizer from Applications.
If macOS blocks the first launch
LPF Organizer is independently distributed and is not notarized by Apple. macOS may ask you to approve it the first time.
- Try opening LPF Organizer normally.
- If macOS blocks it, open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Find the message about LPF Organizer and select Open Anyway, then confirm.
Only approve the app if you downloaded it from the official LPF website or its GitHub release. You should not need to repeat this for normal launches.
